If anything, this holiday season should be a fantastic one for gamers. There will be new gaming hardware to pick from, as well as great deals on already-released and brand-new software. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo should have no trouble wooing in customers by the millions.

What company is going to come out on top? Ace Research Institute put out a new report on what they see happening this holiday season, and according to them, the Switch should end up being the big winner. In particular, their report states that the Switch should have no trouble surpassing PS5 sales this holiday season.

Nintendo's business performance will continue to be strong in the second quarter. And it seems that Switch, which is significantly inferior in performance, will overwhelm the PS5 during the Christmas season.

It's certainly true that the Switch is technically inferior when it comes to raw specs, but the platform certainly makes up for that qith unique features, a library of over 2,600 games, and a price point that should be roughly half the asking price of PS5. In my opinion, that price point is going to be a major factor in the Switch's holiday success.
