Ex-RARE devs working on 3D platformer "Tamarin," but a Switch version is up in the air

A group of former RARE developers are currently putting their time into Tamarin, a 3D platformer that is in the works for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Many are wondering why the Switch isn't included in the platform run down, and developer Chameleon Games has shared the following statement.

Since we’re a small team, our hands are currently full with the PC and PS4 versions. We can confirm that the game is now in development for Xbox One. For technical reasons and because development started long before Switch was out, a potential Switch version would take a long time.

Following that statement, fans have been reaching out to the developer on Twitter to try and woo them towards a Switch port. The biggest bit of hope comes from the statement ebelow.

As you can see, it seems there's just a very slim chance that Tamarin will come to Switch, but a revamped version of the platform could help sway the developer. We'll keep tabs on the situation and see if Chameleon Games sings a different tune as the months roll on.
