Latest Fortnite update causes voice chat issues on Switch
Let's talk about it
Before today, voice chat in Fortnite on Switch was working just fine. Players could use headsets and chat with cross-party players without issue. Now with the game being updated to Version 14.00, it seems an unintended side effect that popped up.
Numerous Switch players are noting that their headsets are no longer working in Fortnite. They can hear other players just fine, but the mic no longer works. As far as we can tell, this is only impacting Switch players right now. Hopefully Epic pushes out a hotfix soon to undo this problem.
