GN Version 5.0

Last year, some very savvy people managed to reverse engineer the source code for Super Mario 64. That allowed people to do all sorts of interesting and unique things, including a native PC port of the game. Today's offering is just a tad more interesting than that.

Believe it or not, the reverse engineered source code can be used to play Super Mario 64 on the Playstation 2. Sure, there are a lot of texture issues and some other hiccups along the way, but the game is playable nonetheless. Pretty interesting to see just how faithful this version is, while at the same time being quite far off in other areas.
