Capcom releases Resident Evil 25th anniversary artwork

25 years already!?

Resident Evil was brought into this world all the way back in March of 1996, which means we're half a year away from the franchise's 25th anniversary. What does Capcom have in store to celebrate the brand? Hopefully some content for the Switch, some new merch, and a lot more!

Capcom is already gearing up for the series' 25th anniversary, as they've released a special piece of artwork to celebrate 25 years of Resident Evil. Expect Capcom to talk a lot more about the anniversary as we move closer to the end of 2020.

Can you believe it’s only ten years younger than Mario. 10 years is a long time. But Mario seems so much older. So much happened in 10 years back then. Nowadays almost nothing. Crysis is 13 years old. That game could as well be new and noone would even know.

I know it's been done to death but I'd love a remake of RE1 in the style of RE2 2019

Funny. Because I want a remake of RE2 in the style of the Geamcube remake of RE1.

I'm with you. I've always wanted wanted RE2 and 3 done in Rebirth style. RE1 and 0 oozed atmosphere that the recent remakes of 2 and 3 severely lack. I think the horror talent have all but left the Resident Evil team unfortunately. Although 7 had good atmosphere, but it was only Resident Evil by name alone.
