Ninjala's first Featured Battle, "Release the Beast," detailed

GungHo Online Entertainment will be launching Ninjala’s new Featured Battle Mode with Release the Beast! Featured Battles are limited-time events that give players fun new ways to play Ninjala and the opportunity to earn special cosmetic items for their avatars outside of the traditional Battle Royale and Team Battles.

Round one of Release the Beast! begins tomorrow from 4 a.m. BST and will last until 10/5 at 5:59 a.m. BST. Round two will begin shortly after from 10/10 at 4 a.m. BST until 10/12 at 5:59 a.m. BST.

In Release the Beast! players will be able to play a special ninja version of tag where eight players enter an arena and some are randomly chosen to become the ‘Beast.’ The Beasts must hunt down and attack the ‘ninja’ players as quickly as possible in order to return to their ninja form and regain the ability to earn points. The longer the ninja players avoid the Beasts, the more points they earn. If players are too slow and get taken down, they then become a Beast and must defeat a ninja to start earning points again. Players who are feeling brave enough can also earn extra points by stopping to taunt the Beast with emotes!
