Nintendo hits another Legend of Zelda fan-made game with a copyright claim
Another one bites the dust
Another fan-made Zelda game has been squashed. Nintendo filed a copyright claim against modder Kaze Emanuar, who created The Legend of Zelda: The Missing Link. The game used the exact same engine from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in order to create a game that took place between Ocarina and Majora's Mask. Obviously Nintendo took issue with the same engine being used, so they swooped in with a copyright claim, forcing the game to be removed. According to Nintendo, the game didn't not fall under fair use protections.
