Nintendo Switch gyro aim is stuttery and sometimes unresponsive after 14.30. When aiming down sights, movement of the crosshair is stuttery (especially with the sniper rifle). ADS with assault rifles and other weapons also seems to jitter when aiming at players. from r/FortNiteBR

Fortnite players on Switch have the option to aim using gyro controls, much like you'd find in Splatoon 2, Rogue Company, or a number of other games. Those who play with it feel like they're at a detriment without it. Unfortunately, many a Fortnite player on Switch is suffering right now due to a gyro glitch.

When using the gyro to aim the traditional camera, everything works as it has been for years now. The problem crops up when you aim down your sight. As you can see in the video above, aiming down sight results in gyro movement that stutters, or jumps into place. Rather than the smooth movement the gyro controls offered just days ago, now using gyro controls for fine aiming puts the player at a severe disadvantage.

Countless people across Twitter and the Fortnite subreddit have been talking about the issue, and complaints have been sent directly to Epic as well. As far as we know, they haven't publicly acknowledged the issue yet. Hopefully they are aware, and have a fix in the works soon.
