How Team Rally works

In this Team Rally, players will pick a side and compete in races to collect Team Tokens. The team that collects the most Team Tokens by the end of it all comes out on top. wins. Fellow Mushroom Kingdom drivers have also picked sides—if you use one that belongs to the team you support, a portion of coins found on courses and in item boxes will appear as Team Tokens instead. You can also get Team Tokens based on your score.

There’s more fun stuff, too, including a Token Shop and Bonus Time windows for really racking up the tokens. But we don’t want to spoil the surprises too much—open the game to get started!

Rewards up for grabs

Players on the top team will be rewarded with 15 rubies, 3,000 coins, and a corresponding badge! All other participants will get 10 rubies and 1,500 coins.

Week 1: Builder Mario and Builder Luigi are in the spotlight

In the first week of the Mario vs. Luigi Tour, you can find Builder Mario, Builder Luigi, the Snow Skimmer kart, the Dozer Dasher kart, the Rainbow Starchute glider, and the Safety Glider in the spotlight.

The favored courses for these drivers will include the second course of every cup for the duration of the Mario vs. Luigi Tour. This should help you hammer new point records!

Week 2: Waluigi (Bus Driver) and Wario (Cowboy) are in the spotlight

In the second week of the Mario vs. Luigi Tour, you can find Waluigi (Bus Driver), Wario (Cowboy), the Platinum Taxi kart, the Red Tax kart, the Cloud Glider, and the Bullet Bill Parachute glider in the spotlight.

The favored courses for these drivers will include the third course of every cup for the duration of the Mario vs. Luigi Tour. See if you can corral some smashing new point records!
