Japan’s Niigata prefecture gets Magikarp manhole covers

Over the last few years, Pokemon Co. has been releasing a series of custom Pokemon manhole covers as part of a beautification process. The latest entry in the series features Magikarp, and there are now four different designs installed in Japan’s Niigata prefecture. Magikarp was chosen due to Ojiya City’s reputation for cultivating Koi fish.
