Bethesda running a Switch eShop sale

DOOM, as well as DOOM, DOOM, and more DOOM

Bethesda is offering up a few of their games at discounted prices on Switch. You have until Dec. 2nd, 2020 to take advantage of the following deals.

Doom (2016) – $29.99 (was $59.99)
Doom – $1.99 (was $4.99)
Doom 3 – $2.99 (was $9.99)
Doom 64 – $1.99 (was $4.99)
Doom II – $1.99 (was $4.99)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – $29.99 (was $59.99)
Wolfenstein: Youngblood – $8.99 (was $29.99)
Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition – $11.99 (was $39.99)
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – $29.99 (was $59.99)

Speaking of sales, the Switch version of Doom Eternal should be no more than €30/$30. It can be bought new PHYSICALLY for €20 on other platforms. Charging €60 for an inferior, digital only Switch version at such a late date would be adding insult to injury.

Nice dream. Sad

To be fair the the other Doom games on Switch are priced really well, even cheaper than they could have gotten away with really- especially Doom 3. Can’t see them being so generous with Eternal though. I just wonder what’s taking so long for it to release! They got Doom 2016 out when the Switch was just over half a year old and it was a great port; would’ve thought they’d have this one in the bag by now.

Each of the classic DOOM games is a bargain at twice the price. Easily the best way to play any of them besides PC, of course. I have around 30 hours in each so far.

Can't wait for DOOM Eternal to finally get here, though I'm disappointed there's no physical version coming. Perhaps a Limited Run edition will pop up!

doom (2016) should not be 30 dollars on the switch in 2020. That game worth dropped a lot in worth within a year on other platforms.
