Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate originally started out on the DS, and now it's coming to the Switch. Why bring it to Nintendo's newest platform after all this time? Tomoya Shinozaki of Spike Chunsoft answered that question in an interview with Siliconera.
Sony ended production of the PlayStation Vita in 2019, making it difficult for new people to play Shiren even if they wanted to. I wanted Shiren to be available to as many people as possible, so we decided to port it to the Switch for its convenience and PC for Steam’s wide user base.
