2021 is the Fatal Frame franchise's 20th anniversary, and the series producer wants to celebrate in some way
New scares in 2021?
Keisuke Kikuchi is the producer of the Fatal Frame series, which is going to hit its 20th anniversary in 2021. Certainly seems like a cause for celebration, doesn't it? Kikuchi thinks so, and shared that sentiment during an interview with Famitsu.
“2020 was a year where things that were normal were no longer normal. I’d like to look at what’s important and what I love once more, and create a game with a fresh perspective. 2021 is also the 20th anniversary of the Fatal Frame series, so I’d like to celebrate it in some way if possible.”
The Fatal Frame franchise has certainly gotten some love on Nintendo platforms over the years. If a celebratory project is released in 2021, hopefully Switch fans get to enjoy it!
