Pet hamster simulation game "Djungarian Story" revealed for Switch

Success has announced that they're bringing the pet hamster simulation game Djungarian Story to the Switch. The game launches May 20th, 2021 in Japan, and it includes English, Japanese, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) language options.

There will be a physical version priced at 2,500 yen, which includes a download code for the full game, the downloadable content “Sukeroku Pack,” the physical edition-exclusive digital item bonus “Pink Bear,” the original papercraft “Djungarian Hamster’s House,” and a special sticker set. The standalone digital edition will cost 1,000 yen, and the DLC “Sukeroku Pack” will be sold for 500 yen. As for gameplay details, you can get a quick breakdown below.

- Pet, Play with, and Befriend Your Hamster – Have a brush with your “friend,” the Djungarian hamster.
- Make More Friends – When hamsters “tie the knot,” a child hamster will be born.
- Decorate the Cage – Exchange items at the “Djundjun Mall” to customize the cage.
