Job Title: Wii Generalist Programmer - Systems & Rendering (Senior)
Reports To: Technical Director
Division/Department: Production
Basic Function:
Work with other rendering and systems programmers, designers and artists to take game features from concept to execution for a port of a 360/PS3 game to the Wii
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Port systems and rendering from the PS3 and 360 to the Wii console
- Implement any architectural changes required by platform differences between Wii and PS3/360
- Optimize memory and performance for the Wii
- Create, develop and maintain advanced tools and pipelines to support rapid iteration and final polishing
- Provide direction to more junior developers
- Determine implementation strategies for specific game/engine feature requirements
- Coach, teach, and mentor other programmers; transfer knowledge
- Supervise or conduct periodic design and code reviews

Wii Gameplay Designer
Description
Job Title: Wii Gameplay Designer (Intermediate) Reports To: Producer
Division/Department: Production
Basic Function:
Collaborates on the overall gameplay vision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathers and verifies requirements for areas of responsibility
- Consistently generates creative ideas and concepts that are suitable and workable
- Develops one or more complex subsets of overall gameplay design
- Creates robust, clear visual and written design documents that are well organized and concise
- Understands, maintains and actively promotes vision across game team
- Uses game vision as filter for all design decisions; ensures consistency of design
- Determines ideal parameters through experience and reference
- Seeks and identifies problems and diagnoses complex causes in own and other areas
- Tunes and balances own areas and metagame
- Proactively mentors team members on design and implementation methodologies and challenges
- Developing creative ways to adapt the gameplay and controls to the Wii
- Designing and guiding the implementation of camera on all platforms
