Remember that nasty bug we reported on in Bubble Bobble Revolution that made it impossible to play past level 30? Well it looks like the problem has been fixed, and Codemasters is going to take care of the situation for those who purchased the game.

Thank you for submitting your recent request to Codemasters Customer Services concerning Bubble Bobble.

You have previously contacted us with regard to the faulty version of Bubble Bobble, whereby the New Age mode of the game cannot be played beyond level 30. We are pleased to say that we expect to be sending out replacement cartridges, that rectify this fault, from February 23 onwards. We would, however, also like to apologize for the length of time that this process has taken.

In order to get a head start on replacing the game we are emailing you now with instructions on the replacement process. Firstly, we need you to return your existing faulty version, so that we can remove it from circulation. To enable you to do this, we will send you a reply paid envelope.

I applaud Codemasters for putting the time and effort into fixing the bug, and also getting the new version out to people who bought the original. Thanks to Geoff and Sean for the heads up.
