Sensor Tower - Pokémon GO Has Grossed $1 Billion Worldwide Since Launch

Just shy of seven months after its July 6, 2016 release in the United States, Ninantic’s Pokémon GO has surpassed $1 billion in worldwide gross revenue on the App Store and Google Play, according to Sensor Tower data. In doing so, it has become the fastest mobile game in the history of the app stores to reach this milestone.

By comparison, Supercell’s Clash Royale, which is itself closing in on $1 billion spent in-app by players, was released nearly 10 months ago, on March 2, 2016. In its first seven months, it grossed approximately $550 million worldwide according to our Store Intelligence estimates.
