Over the weekend, we learned that Lethal League Blaze on Switch lacked the Ranked Mode that was included on PS4 and Xbox One. What we didn't get was a real explanation as to why that feature wasn't included, other than a joke about the team spending all their time getting the game to run well on Switch. Since that initial bit of info, a full statement on the matter has been released. Check it out below.

Unfortunately the Switch does have the required backend to implement a ranking the way we do on other platforms.

Ranked was a bonus feature that was not originally planned even for the initial batch last year. Communicating the absence on Switch didn't cross the right people's minds. We apologize for that.

Just so you know, we will add a 1 on 1 queue for the Switch version with the same competitive rules in an upcoming patch.
