The Witcher's first season hasn't even aired yet, but showrunner Lauren Hissrich is already looking to the future. Just a few days ago, she said she has 7 seasons planned as of right now. Apparently things could run even longer if Hissrich had her way. Check out her most recent comment on the show's potential seasons to come below.

It was reported yesterday that I had seven seasons mapped out. I said in another panel that the show could run for 20 years, there’s so much material. Keep the faith!

Obviously, the show's first season is going to be absolutely crucial in getting greenlit for future installments. Let's hope the series ends up being both a critical and commercial success.
