Hero Must Die: Director’s Cut announced for Switch

G-mode has announced that they're bringing Hero Must Die: Director’s Cut to the Switch as part of their G-Mode Archives series. This is the first game in the Hero Must Die series, which had Shoji Masuda as its scenario writer and game designer, Shunya Yamashita as the character designer, and Kenji Ito as composer.

Hero Must Die: Director’s Cut takes place over five days, and follows an unnamed hero after he defeats the demon king Satan. The hero actually dies in battle, but is granted five more days of to live.

Hero Must Die: Director’s Cut launches in Japan on October 1st, 2020, and is priced at ¥500. No word on a localization at this time.
