RUMOR - Netflix testing service on Wii as we speak
First off, we were all hoping that Netflix was coming to Wii. After weeks and weeks of debate, we learned that Netflix was heading to the PS3 next. Then, someone at Netflix commented on the Wii, saying that the service would indeed make sense on that platform. Last, we had Michael Pachter chime in to say that the service would probably hit Wii within the next year.
Now we have the next step in the saga. According to an inside source at StreamingMedia, Netflix is testing their service on the Wii right now, and it will be rolled out to the public very soon. I wonder if this would make more people pick up a Wii for the holidays…
