Check out 10 minutes of new Dragon Quest Treasures gameplay

Dragon Quest Treasures is set for release on Switch in just a few days, on December 9, 2022. An action-oriented spinoff of the main Dragon Quest series, this game promises loads of treasure-centric RPG combat. A new video has been released by Game Informer, which shows off a good ten minutes of gameplay, along with commentary explaining some of the game’s systems and features. Dragon Quest Treasures is a prequel to Dragon Quest 11. It follows the exploits of Erik and his sister, Mia, well before they met up with The Luminary and follows them on their adventure to find treasure, escape vikings, and jump on top of the heads of monsters in order to reach higher platforms. Unlike Dragon Quest 11, Treasures is an action game with open environments and a focus on collecting valuables.
