The Nintendo Wii is one of the most successful video game consoles in history, but could it be improved upon? According to YouTube channel Bringus Studios, yes it could, and in one simple way: it could be made bigger.

In their newest video, they endeavor to create an XL version of the original Wii, transforming it from its original proportions to a mammoth device. The final result is a 2.3 to 1 scale model of the original, and is twelve times larger by volume. It’s fully functional, able to play any Wii or GameCube games, and even comes with a built-in HDMI adapter.

Check out the video above to see the full, detailed process of getting the Wii XL built. It may not be more practical, but it is definitely bigger, and isn’t that a technical achievement in its own right?
