The breakdown of hardware and software sales across Europe for June 2023 has been revealed, and there’s not much presence from Nintendo. However, May’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sales stayed strong throughout the month, beating those of some big new releases like Street Fighter 6. Here are Europe’s 10 best selling games from last month:

This chart accounts for digital and physical sales, but, as Nintendo doesn’t report their digital sales figures, Zelda’s placement is based solely on physical sales.

In terms of hardware, Switch console sales were down 2.3% from last month.

Here are some overall stats about the European game industry in June 2023:

  • 15.5 million games were sold across Europe last month, a 20% improvement over June 2022
  • In terms of purely physical retail sales, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom holds the month’s number 1 position
  • 500,700 games consoles were sold across tracked European markets last month, which is up 33% over last June.
  • Overall, 1.46 million accessories and toys-to-life products were sold, a rise of 5.4% over June 2022.
  • 1.3 million point cards were sold last month, up 3.4% over last June.
