The Rewinder gets an August 10th, 2023 release date

Pixel adventure game The Rewinder was announced for a Switch release almost a year ago, and now we know exactly when it’ll become available. A new trailer reveals that its official release date is Thursday, August 10, 2023. The trailer also includes some footage of the point and click style adventure game running on Switch, accompanied by some appropriately mysterious music.

Developed by Misty Mountain Studio, The Rewinder is a point and click puzzle game incorporates folklore and traditional Chinese demon culture. The game tries to integrate Chinese painting elements into pixel painting to show a distinctive art style. Players take on the role of a special character who has the ability to enter people’s memories and influence their actions. By utilizing “senses” and swaying others’ “intentions”, he can change history.
