Last month, Epic announced that they would be adjusting the cost of V-Bucks and content packs in Fortnite in various regions, including the United States. Now, those changes have officially been made.

For those not in the know, V-Bucks are the in-game currency used to purchase cosmetic items. The reasons stated for these changes were “economic factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations”.

Here are the new prices for the various V-Bucks bundles available in the United States:

  • 1,000 V-bucks - $8.99 (previously $7.99)
  • 2,800 V-bucks - $22.99 (previously $19.99)
  • 5,000 V-bucks - $36.99 (previously $31.99)
  • 13,500 V-bucks - $89.99 (previously $79.99)

The sad part is that it's 100 % the players' fault since they continue to buy this overpriced shit.
