Jet Force Gemini has released for the Switch Online Expansion Pack in Japan, giving players the chance to dive into yet another N64 RARE classic. Unfortunately, for those looking to enjoy the game in widescreen, there appears to be an issue.
If you play Jet Force Gemini in the original 4:3 mode, all looks as you’d expect. If you go for the widescreen option, the image gets letterboxed rather than being properly stretched vertically. This results in an image that looks rather out-of-whack, but it’s certainly still playable.
Nintendo has yet to comment on this issue, but it’s no doubt one they will fix up. Hopefully when Jet Force Gemini releases for Switch Online Expansion Pack member worldwide, a fix for this display issue will be included.
