We’re about a month and a half away from the Switch release of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. This compilation features the fourth, fifth, and sixth games in the Ace Attorney series presented in a more modern format with new features. With this release, all of the mainline Ace Attorney games will be available on Switch, but could there be more on the way?

In a new interview with Nintendo Life, the compilation’s producer Kenichi Hashimoto isn’t ready to give much away. Here’s what he had to say when asked about the possibility of future Ace Attorney installments:

I don’t think that Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy marks the end of the Ace Attorney series. There are no announcements about the franchise’s future at this time, but please stay tuned for updates in the future!

It’s not exactly confirmation of a brand new series entry any time soon, but hopefully fans find the response somewhat encouraging! If Hashimoto foresees more in the series’ future, that bodes well. Perhaps that future includes a brand new Phoenix Wright game, more remakes, or the localization of the Japan-only release Ace Attorney Investigations 2.

We can only hope more evidence will pile up soon! In the meantime, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy will hit Switch on January 24, 2024.
