Adventure RPG My Time at Sandrock launched on Switch in November 2023, and has received a handful of updates and patches since then. It sounds like more updates are on the way according to a new post titled “Answering Some Concerns” made by the developers on Steam.

The concerns addressed in the post relate to the game’s visuals, load times, and NPC storylines. Load times should be reduced significantly for most players thanks to some fixes under the hood. As for visuals, it sounds like some behind the scenes rendering changes have altered the game’s lighting effects, but the devs say that they’re working to make sure they’re “up to par” in all areas.

As for additional story content, the devs promise future updates that will bring post-marriage storyline tasks for “many” romanceable characters, as well as two extensive new side stories for the character of Owen.

For now, the loading and visual updates pertain mostly to the PC version of the game. Hopefully, the devs will push another update with some similar changes on Switch in the near future. Click here to read their full post which features more info and comparison images.
