ESPN's Stephen A. Smith chooses his favorite starter Pokémon
A true rite of passage
In a recent episode of the Stephen A. Smith show, sports journalist Stephen A. Smith responded to a tweet asking which of the three original starter Pokémon he would choose. Although he wasn’t given much context, Smith did his best to analyze the three based on looks alone.
Ultimately, Smith opts for Charmander (who he amusingly mispronounces as Shamander), because he says that they both share similar foreheads. Clearly, Pokémon is not Smith’s area of expertise, but it’s fun to watch him make the choice that so many gamers have in years past!
