Celeste, available on Switch and featured in a few Nintendo presentations back in the day, released to critical acclaim back in 2018, and the team behind the game is celebrating its 6th anniversary in a super cool way. Celeste 64: Fragments of the Mountain is a new, bite-sized 3D platformer available for free via Itchio. It’s only playable on PC, but, if you like Celeste and you have the means to play it, you might want to check it out.

The Celeste team’s last free game, Celeste Classic 2, never left PC, so a Switch port is unlikely. If you want to check out this throwback to the Nintendo 64, Itchio is probably your only chance.

Last but not least, you can also enjoy the cull soundtrack for Celeste 64: Fragments of the Mountain, composed by Lena Raine, for free! You can stream it through the official Bandcamp embed below.
