HAMSTER Co. has announced that Konami’s maze-based action game JUNGLER is coming to Switch as the next entry in their Arcade Archives series. You can watch the video above to see the game in action.

Here’s how HAMSTER Co. describes the game:

JUNGLER “ is an action game released by KONAMI in 1981. Defeat the enemies wandering around the maze-like stage. If you hit the tail with a shot, the body will become one length shorter. To defeat an enemy, either erase their entire body with a shot or hit your head against the head of an enemy that is the same length or shorter than you. If you pick up the “strawberry” in the stage, you can make your body one length longer.

The “Arcade Archives” series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.

Going by past Arcade Archives releases, this title should be available on the eShop within the next day for $7.99 USD.
