Cult of the Lamb has become an indie darling on Switch and other platforms for its creative gameplay and darkly cute aesthetic. Now, the game’s universe is branching out into the medium of graphic novels. A Kickstarter for Cult of the Lamb: The First Verse launched just today, and has already been funded with nearly $200,000.
Cult of the Lamb: The First Verse will consist of four comics published by Oni Press, written by Alex Paknadel, and illustrated by Troy Little. More artists and creative contributors will be revealed over the course of the campaign. There are multiple tier options for backers, including digital and physical editions of the comic, special variant covers, and more.

In a land pervaded by cruelty and evil, the most innocent among us – young Lamb, the last of their kind – was selected to become a final, dark sacrifice.
