MLB The Show 24 players experiencing incessant crashes on Switch

MLB The Show 24 dropped on Switch just a few days ago, and it seems that players are experiencing some pretty devastating issues. Video Games Chronicle has compiled a list of sources online in which early adopters are reporting numerous crashes and glitches interfering with their gameplay.

According to those players, crashes are occurring at various points during gameplay, forcing the game to close. In some cases, these crashes are consistently recurring and are keeping players from experiencing portions of the game. The Diamond Dynasty mode seems to be one of the biggest culprits, with many saying they aren’t able to access it at all without a crash shutting things down first.

In an official thread on the MLB The Show forums, a developer gave this response: ““Thank you for your reports. We are aware of the issue and are actively working on a fix, but we don’t have an estimate on the fix yet.”

While some players have reported few, or no issues while playing, it seems that this is a problem affecting many others. Hopefully, the developers are able to push a patch through sooner rather than later.
