RUMOR: Planet of the Apes content coming to Fortnite

It’s not uncommon for Fortnite DLC info to leak ahead of schedule, and it looks like we’ve got another instance of that on our hands. Podcaster, industry insider, and past Fortnite leaker Nick Baker shared a vague tweet which seems to indicate that Planet of the Apes content is on its way to the game.

In the tweet, Baker mentions another well known leaker, @iFireMonkey, who’s shared upcoming Fortnite details numerous times in the past. He replied with a vague tweet of his own, which could be read as acknowledgment of the original rumor.

All of this should be taken with a grain of salt, but with credible leakers sharing the info, it seems likely that Planet of the Apes skins and cosmetic items are in the works for Fortnite. With the upcoming Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (from Zelda movie director Wes Ball) releasing on May 8th, 2024, now would seem a good time for it.
