2024 BAFTA Game Awards winners announced

Mario and Link both taking home gold

The BAFTA Game Awards winners for 2024 have been officially announced. There are a variety of awards here, all of which are going to titles that were released last year - That includes some Switch games!

Super Mario Bros. Wonder was one of the biggest Switch winners, taking home the awards for Best Family Game as well as Best Multiplayer Game. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was also recognized for the Technical Achievement award. Elsewhere, indie games that are on Switch got some love, such as Dave the Diver (Game Design) and Venba (Best Debut Game).

  • Performer in a Leading Role – Nadji Jeter (Marvel’s Spider-Man 2)
  • Best Game – Baldur’s Gate 3
