Want to feel old? Xenoblade Chronicles just celebrated its 14th anniversary. It’s pretty crazy to think that a much-beloved franchise in 2024 almost didn’t see release in North America for its debut Wii installment. Thankfully Nintendo of America changed gears, launched the title here, and cemented the series’ legacy.

In honor of the game’s 14th anniversary, a special video has been shared. In the video above, you can hear a brand-new performance of “Beyond the Sky” from Xenoblade Chronicles, and it’s once again performed by Sarah Àlainn. Sarah is the singer from the original version of the tune, and as you’ll hear in this video, she sounds just as good today as she did 14 years ago.

Beyond the Sky is an Event Track in Xenoblade Chronicles, composed and arranged by Yasunori Mitsuda, with original lyrics by Tetsuya Takahashi. This song is heard at the end of the game during a very special meeting for Shulk.
