New glitch discovered in Breath of the Wild, lets you transfer items to a new save file with ease
The speedrunning scene may never be the same
The Breath of the Wild glitch-hunting scene has been going strong since the game first released, but what may be the most broken glitch yet has recently been discovered. This glitch lets you transfer items, including the Bow of Light, to new save files, and it also lets you duplicate materials, all with relative ease. You can check out this video from Gaming Reinvented to see how it works:
While glitches that let you transfer items to new save files have been found in the past, they were very difficult to pull off, requiring large chunks of wasted time and frame-perfect inputs. With this newly discovered glitch, items can be transferred much more efficiently and consistently. Hopefully speedrunners are able to utilize it to get some of their already ridiculous times even lower.
