Megaton Musashi X launches December 1, 2022 in Japan, gets new trailer

As part of Tokyo Game Show 2022, Level-5 held a special presentation all about Megaton Musashi X for the Switch. The original Megaton Musashi has been available in Japan for a while now, but this new update will turn it into a free-to-play game. Today we got a new trailer for the game (above), as well as an official release date of December 1st, 2022 in Japan.

This update will also include season 2 of the story, player-versus-player online battles, new mecha, characters, weapons, and stages. Original Megaton players will be able to transfer their save data in order to receive a special bonus item. There is no word on any release outside of Japan at this time.
