SNK celebrates Art of Fighting's 30th anniversary with new art

Today marks the thirtieth anniversary of the release of Art of Fighting, the first game in SNK’s popular series of fighting games. The game first launched on September 24, 1992. In honor of the occasion, SNK’s official Twitter account has shared some new art from SNK illustrator Tomohiro Nakata. The art features many of the game’s iconic characters posing and looking ready for a fight.

Originally released on the NeoGeo, the Art of Fighting games have found their way onto Nintendo consoles here and there, including on the Switch! You can check out a faithful port of the original game on the Switch eShop right now. Play a little and celebrate its anniversary today!
