Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope doesn’t release until later in October, but it seems as though Nintendo may have spoiled the identity of the game’s main villain by way of a recently released trailer! At least that’s what the folks over at GameXplain seem to think! Be wary of potential spoilers ahead..

As shown in the video, the trailer shows the villain’s eye up close and for a brief moment shows the villain’s “uncorrupted” eye that seems to be a very similar shape and shade of blue to Rosalina! The video goes on to provide a few side by side comparisons and the results seem pretty convincing!

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long to find out as the game is due out on October 20th!

I’d imagine this teaser will be shown very early in the game to set up the story.

I heard this yesterday. But I didn't click on the link, in case they said who it was. But then I was on GameXplain and unlike their video here, they've a thumbnail of this character for the story. Well done GameXplain. I'm sure some people can probably guess who it is anyway or at least is involved somehow. After I seen that thumbnail I said I may as well watch the trailer Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope story trailer. Ubisoft posed their headline as a question, not as a statement. So maybe there's someone else behind what Ubisoft showed.

It would be great if we could get spoiler tags back on the site in the comments section.

With the internet I feel it's harder to get spoiled about things one likes and follows. It's easier to get surprised by new stuff one hadn't given the chance before.

With that said I suppose I feel sometimes getting to know the whys and hows may be more interesting that missing on a gotcha moment. I feel.

I feel Cursa may be tied to Edge's character arc, given how that character is like the only one who seems to have some sort of arc in this game.
