Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty
There’s a few things that should be on developer checklists for 2022. If you’re a developer making a game that has animals in it, you better make sure the ability to pet those animals is at the top of your todo list. Somehow that wasn’t on the list for Disney Dreamlight Valley, but it looks like that’s going to change.
The official Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter account put up a poll asking players if they’d like the ability to pet animal companions. This was a mock poll, as all three answers users could pick from were ‘yes,’ but said in a different way. In other words, it appears that Gameloft is already hard at work on adding a ‘petting’ feature in a future update.
Gameloft didn’t give any insight as to when this feature would become available, but with the tease popping up on Twitter recently, let’s hope that means it’ll be added to the game in the very near future.
