Update: Tag Heuer has updated the site and included more information regarding the watches.

The watch on the left is the Chronograph Tag Heuer Formula 1 X Mario Kart, priced at $4,300, while the one on the right is the Tourbillon Chronograph Tag Heuer Formula 1 X Mario Kart, priced at $25,600. More details and pictures can be found on the official website here.

Original: Tag Heuer is back again with another watch collaboration with Nintendo; this time, the theme will be all about the Mario Kart series. No more details were shared other than that the watch will be on sale on October 20th, 2022, with registration starting today.

The last Mario smartwatch that was released was priced around $2,150 and was limited to 2000 copies, so it won’t be surprising if this watch is within that range.

I expected the prices to be high, but this is insane, particularly the watch for $25,600. If you can afford to blow that kind of money on a watch, then you must have very little problems in your life. That's like a deposit on a house or the price of a decent car.

Just to add, the watches look lovely. But you forget about that when you see the crazy prices.

The real tea is, these will only increase in value since they are a limited edition. Once they run out, any real collector of watches with a little pocket change will spare no expense to get one (or probably two) and auction it off for more.
