Just last week, we shared a rumor of Sonic Prime arriving on Netflix come December 15th, 2022. Turns out that rumor was spot-on, as Netflix has confirmed today that Sonic’s next animated series will make its debut mid-December.

Funnily enough, Sonic Prime’s release date was leaked through a promo poster, and today brings us yet another round of official posters. The posters spotlight some of the characters you’ll see in the series, and it’s a who’s who of familiar faces. Check out the various posters below.

That’s not all there is for Sonic Prime today, as Netflix has confirmed that a new teaser will be shown during their new weekly live stream show called Geeked: Toon-In. This show is set to air today at 5 PM ET, and we’ll certainly keep an eye out for the trailer and bring it to you.

Sonic Prime is said to feature an incredible twist thrusts Sonic into a new adventure featuring a reinvented cast and Sonic like you’ve never seen him before, where the fate of the multiverse rests in his gloved hands. Sonic’s adventure is about more than a race to save the universe from the evil machinations of his longtime nemesis Dr. Eggman and his army of badnik robots, it’s a race to save his friends, friends that he took for granted.
