IndieCade Festival 2022 award winners revealed
Multiple Switch games take home wins
The IndieCade Festival ‘Anywhere and Everywhere’ featured 48 games across genres, platforms, and experiences. The goal of the Festival was to connect creators, experience gameplay, and celebrate developers from all over the world. A big part of the Indiecade Festival is the Awards Ceremony, and now we know who came away with wins for the 2022 installment.
Awards go out in three different categories; General, Spotlight and Honorary. You can see the winners in each category below, and there’s a nice smattering of Switch titles included.
General:

- Developer’s Choice: Lost in Play
- Innovation in Interaction Design: Midnight Protocol
- Innovation in Experience Design: Atuel
Spotlight Awards:

- Live Action: TIKATMOS
- Narrative: The Case of the Golden Idol
- Performance: Artholomew Video’s Stream Challenge
- Mike Sellers Systemic Design: Babble Royale
