PlatinumGames is back with the 10th installment in their dev blog series for Bayonetta 3, and this one puts the spotlight on concept art.

Yuki Suda, art director for Bayonetta 3, takes the helm for this blog, and they share all sorts of inside information on how Bayonetta 3 came to be, and how the game’s concept art helped shape that.

According to Suda, this title marked a turning point in the Bayonetta series, and Platinum had to be conscious of the expansion of the Bayonetta world as well as of the scale of the game itself. We now know there are many possible Bayonetta variations, which leaves room for all kinds of exploration and imagination.
