As you no doubt know, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet suffered a mountain’s worth of leaks in the days leading up to launch. Pretty much every big tidbit of information on the game was disseminated online, making social media platforms like Twitter a hellscape to navigate if you were looking to avoid spoilers.

One of the biggest leakers on Twitter was the account CentroLeaks, which made it their mission to leak Pokémon-related content for years now. Not surprisingly, the account went into overdrive on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, sharing all sorts of details Nintendo and Pokémon Co. didn’t want out in the wild.

Even worse, CentroLeaks dared Nintendo to come after them numerous times. It seems the combination of both elements led to some major issues for CentroLeaks, as the Twitter account has disappeared as of a few hours ago. It’s not clear just how much trouble CentroLeaks is in, but it certainly doesn’t seem like a situation Nintendo would just give a slap on the wrist for.

If any other details come out about this Twitter suspension, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Even among Pokeleakers Centro was a shameless clout-chaser. And I’ll spare no sympathy for clout-chasers.
