Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallows will see a restock in Spring 2023

Earlier this week, Pokemon Co. finally put the Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallows up for sale. This duo was originally announced in the Summer, and fans have been chomping at the bit to snag them ever since. That’s why it’s no surprise that both Squishmallows sold out literally under two hours after sales were open.

If you missed out on the opportunity to home these Pokémon Squishmallows, there’s no need to fret. It turns out there will be a restock, and it’s coming sometime in Spring 2023. Even better, both options will be available to purchase through multiple retailers.

That said, it does seem there will be a notable difference between the Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallows that are sold out and the restocks coming next Spring. The Squishmallows bought this week were 12 inches with embroidered patches and hang tags. The versions coming in Spring 2023 will be in different sizes, and it doesn’t seem they’ll have the patches or tags. That said, they are still 100% official releases.
