NieR:Automata hits 7 million sold across all platforms

Back within the first week of October, Square Enix announced that NieR:Automata hit 6.5 million units sold worldwide. Now, just a few weeks after that announcement, Square Enix has shared a considerable update on the game’s tally.

While Square Enix hasn’t shared the split between platforms and versions, we now know that NieR:Automata has reached 7 million units sold worldwide. That would mean that another 500k units have been sold in the span of roughly 6 weeks! With NieR:Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition being the most recent release, there’s little doubt the bulk of the game’s sales during those 6 weeks came from Switch.
