Fan-made Pokémon toys show a painful look at Poké Balls

The above series of toys may look good enough to be an official release in terms of quality, but the subject matter is no doubt something Pokémon Co. would steer very clear of.

Artist Okiha has set their sights on the world of Pokémon to create a unique line of Pokémon toys that captures a Poké Ball mishap. We’ve all tossed a few Poké Balls at Pokémon over the years, and that’s led to hitting a few directly in the face. Okiha set out to recreate that moment in very painful fashion.

The humorous Pokémon toy lineup has been an incredible hit on social media, reaching nearly 18 million Twitter users so far. It’s no surprise to see such a funny idea capture the attention of Pokémon fans, it’s just too bad we’ll never get to own these sets!
